Latest news: Native XDCAM In Premiere Pro CS3
01/05/2008 12:33 - Submitted by Craig Heffernan
Adobe have released Premiere Pro CS3 v3.20, an update to improve handling and support of MPEG streams and specific support for Sony XDCAM HD, and Sony XDCAM EX workflows with .mxf media. The support frees Premiere Pro editors from needing third-party .mxf plugins to benefit from the exceptional tapeless features and performance XDCAM HD and XDCAM EX offer.
The update can be downloaded via the Update option within Premiere Pro CS3 software, and will be made publically downloadable at a later date. Release notes for the update can be found here.
